Carbon fiber mufflers

Does anyone have first hand experience polishing/restoring carbon cans?

You can clear coat the carbon fiber and it will look beautiful . How long it will last on the exhaust I don't know ?

I picked up a rattle can of Hi temp clear (satin)

 

Probably  will first try some polishing compound in a small area on the  back and see what happens.

I used a fine metal polishing compound called Flitz on CF. Works well. I use it on paint as well. It's fabulous on aluminum.

I had a fender & gauge carbon fiber . It was chalky and dull .and I had a buddy paint with clear coat.....WOW
