$65 for two is a bit steep for most Guzzi owners. I don’t doubt the quality of the service but the apprehension suggests there might be better options.

$20 is about the going rate per injector from some places and it’s not a bad idea to get it done. Unbalanced injectors could definitely cause issues.

really, parts included? specialized equipment. the man's credentials gotta count for something. :luigi: Who else does this sort of service, the dealership?

re brace... thanks, email sent to Don

Those of you in the loop with this stuff would know better than I. No idea what going rate is on an injector service these days, I've been out of the industry for more than a decade. He did mine for free and when I asked how much he'd normally charge that was his answer. I don't make a cent - just passing it on along with a guestimate on postage.  :)

I had the injectors on my Corvette services a while ago, it wasn’t expensive. And there are 8 of those!

$65 isn’t horrible for two but again the guy doesn’t seem enthusiastic about it. I’m sure he charges those poor Mercedes owners twice that much and they’re happy.

Has there not been a good injector service discussion around here yet?

" . . .happy Mercedes owners . . . " could be today's oxymoron . . .
