I purchased direct from TR as I asked if I could get a unit that would work on both my 98 EV (PM ECU) and 06 Breva 1110 (5AM ECU). Works fine on the Breva but not on the EV. TR stated: Our Alaris-MM will do the job. It includes all the Marelli ECU up to the 7BM (including P8). Software shows that I connect to the P8 but nothing on the gauges work and all state 0.
fotoguzzi Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 My OLD Techno research never did work on the p8 so no surprise.. I think to change anything on the p8 you need to replace or re write the Eprom chip.
Chuck Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 I had it on a Palm Pilot oh, a "couple of years or so" ago. It worked well on Guzzis and Ducks. It was sort of a one off, though.. he had me send him the Palm Pilot and he installed it. Maybe give him a call and ask what up?
