I have the std green guard but it's such a PITA to swap them out and it's also got a minor crack at one mount point. The black guard is a nice carbon one. Maybe green with a clear stripe in the middle to display the carbon, maybe. I doubt I can spray/reproduce the original colour myself though as the process is a bit tricky. Phil 3

Phil I sold my cf fender and replaced it with a painted Aprilia RSV one. Mind you, I don’t think these will fit the Marzocchi fork.

You're the one that will be seen riding it... Seriously, though, what about red bar end weights. I'm repeating myself there. Someone here was looking for suggestions for a bit more red on the front, and that occurred to me. I think it would work on yours too, Phil. And yes, the mudgaurd is much better in green.

Chuck Posted August 26, 2023 Posted August 26, 2023 Now, let's talk about the fairing.. and the forks painted the same color as the engine cases. 1

footgoose Posted September 2, 2023 Posted September 2, 2023 I rather like the black CF mud guard Phil. This bike pictured with blacked side body panels and muffler hangers has a good look, and could maybe provide some 'black' balance. Whatever you do your bike will be like a woman who could wear anything and always be beautiful. 2
Lucky Phil Posted September 12, 2023 Author Posted September 12, 2023 Fitted the original front guard. Better? Phil 3
audiomick Posted September 12, 2023 Posted September 12, 2023 I think the green probably is better. Your idea for the carbon guard with a clear strip in the middle might be a good one, if you can get it painted the right colour.
