The latest issue with my battery has me wondering if there is a better way to manage the battery cables.

Currently there are three wires to each terminal, the thick ones that go to the starter, another cable and then the tender cable.

I'd like to get down to one cable per terminal, although I'm afraid the starter cables have to go to the battery.

I know @docc has a block on his bike. I was looking at other options too.

Run a short thick jumper from the battery to here and pick up the other wires. That still gives me two wires at each battery terminal.

The other choice is to run a wire from the starter up to the terminal block.

Hey that’s a good idea, it can be a right faff messing with all those cables...

The downside to this theory is that hopefully you almost never need to remove the battery. At least never more than every few years.
