rosso corsa Posted July 22, 2019 Posted July 22, 2019 Hello, I am looking for the small round black rrubber cover on the brake/clutch pump to cover where the side mirror is normally fixed. Anyone knows where to find this (I tried Stein Dinze and Wendel in Berlin but they do not have it). Thanks a lot.
JBBenson Posted July 22, 2019 Posted July 22, 2019 Any good hardware store would have something that could work. Otherwise, use a short button-head bolt to plug it. 1
Admin Jaap Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Maybe you can find something here? https://www.essentracomponents.com
rosso corsa Posted July 24, 2019 Author Posted July 24, 2019 Thanks a lot Jaap; will drop them a line
docc Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 I learned from a Ducati guy just to turn them upside down. The hole disappears and the smooth top is even cleaner than the plug. Visible here with one of my "intermediate" speedometer solutions . . Also, if you have not already, slip a "Zip-tie" through the hollow lever pivot. If the weak spring steel nut drops off the bottom unnoticed, the pivot pin can jump out and take the lever (and your front brakes ) with it . . . 1
