Griso service light reset

Coe eu56 showing on my Griso year 2006 also red triangular light and service. How do I rectify this. 

Manual/ small thick book not informative enough. I have tried putting in code and then deleting, but still no joy. Oil level o.k. . Any advice please

ECU56 is the speedo sensor. Has it been wet where you are or have you recently washed the bike?

Early sensors were prone to water intrusion at the join between the cable and the 'Block'. If you remove it and dry it with a hairdryer and then seal around the join with silastic it may solve the issue. If not buy a new one. They aren't terrifically spendy.

Diagnostic code for Griso is 12425.

As Pete said, the speed sensor can be somewhat allergic to water. When it gets wet it can trigger that code. You can't clear the code until the issue is resolved. Drying the sensor (perhaps with a hair dryer) will make the issue go away. Sealing the sensor better will keep it from coming back.

there is a 3rd gen speedo sensor available , i haven't had one of those fail .....yet. they have been around for a few years.
