Never liked the rotors on my '97 Sporti- pulse, inconsistent, etc. I know this was a problem, and I've done all the power wash/hammer hitting to loosen them up but they're just not very good.

What's the EBC/Braking option for replacement? I've found fitment on the EBC website, but from vendors it's never clear about "X-type" "Left-Right-Both" WTF ever.

Who's got a clear answer and quick source?

Southern Spine Raid is coming up and I can't leave Docc in front of me all the time. 'Specially if he's riding a Duck.

Brakes is good. ‘Speshully in the mountains...

Not my Duc, though. I’ll be on my clapped-out Sport ( long as the Crick don’t rise!)

That apparent word is that the discs with the circular cutouts in the carriers tended to warp. Total guess here, but the later V11 units with the triangular cutouts would most likely retrofit. Here are some brand new gold series Brembos at a good price, considering they are coming from Italia. Also, there are quite a few used later V11 discs on eBay.

A pair of Sifam(?) from Italy, for '97-'00:

And EBC listings - they do specify left or right in the listing, so there must be some difference.

A set from an '02 LeMAns with 18K miles:

I’ve fitted some griso front discs to mine, which were much cheaper than the oe v11 ones, and work perfectly fine.

Knowing Guzzi, there may be a different offset due to different forks used, but I am just guessing. I believe they are all 320s and the bolt circle is the same, but offset can make a difference.

So, based on... Scott's? bike, I found (hopefully) the correct set of Brembo T-drive rotors. Soon to be installed with Braking street pads. Testing will probably take an entire weekend of up-northing in the Georgia mountains. May even get back to the Lodge if the weather cooperates.
Kudos to Sportbikes4hire.com for doing the homework.
