cash1000 Posted September 4, 2019 Posted September 4, 2019 I replaced Neutral Sensor/switch in left hand side of gearbox a couple of months ago because it was leaking from the plastic end. This solved the leak but now neutral light comes on when in gear and goes out when in neutral ( the opposite to what is meant to happen.) Is it likely to be just a faulty switch( Cheap at $20 odd) or an electrical problem? Old switch worked fine.
Lucky Phil Posted September 4, 2019 Posted September 4, 2019 From memory normally the earth is made when the plunger is extended. Sounds like yours is the reverse. Put a meter on it and depress the plunger and compare it to the original. ciao 1
MartyNZ Posted September 5, 2019 Posted September 5, 2019 Ha! That's what Lorde was singing about. "That green light, I want it". https://www.v11lemans.com/forums/index.php?/topic/18925-what-do-you-listen-to-share-your-favs/&do=findComment&comment=239743 But seriously, I think Lucky Phil is right. 1 1
