Colorobo Posted November 11, 2019 Posted November 11, 2019 Mg cycle has a ram low inertia clutch. It says that it will bolt to a v7 V11 ect. has anybody have experience with this being true.
docc Posted November 11, 2019 Posted November 11, 2019 The challenge to fit this to your twin plate V11 is to obtain a gearbox input hub from one of the single plate V11 (Rosso Mandello, Scura, Tenni) that had (have) issues with thrie aluminum flywheel potentially cracking. There is, reportedly, mild fitting of the clutch pushrod. All very well documented here with reliable, experienced members willing to help. I had the privilege of pulling the lever on footgoose's V11 Tenni so equipped . . . buttered silk!
footgoose Posted November 13, 2019 Posted November 13, 2019 I don't see any RAM clutches but this at MGCycle, and it's for 5 speeds. Which are you looking at? http://www.mgcycle.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=193&products_id=1698
