Lovely bike, Carrillo dont make Titanium rods though. Steel or Aluminium only as far as I was aware so I checked their website to see if they had diversified. No mention of Titanium rods though.

Great looking bike.  I'd prefer the stock color for the wheels but love that exhaust.  Never seen that exhaust on a V11 before.  My garage is full otherwise I'd be very tempted.

I think that's kind of a myth when it comes to Scuras. I was told somewhere down the road mine had titanium rods or something. It didn't. Nonetheless that's a beautiful Scura and if I had the garage space I'd be trying to buy it. Best of all the miles are pretty low and by the looks not abused whatsoever. A little bit of surface stuff but it's understandable since it's 18 years old and in NorCal. I'd be all over this if I had the space.

Yes it looks a nice unit. The only Guzzi's that came with Carrillos as std fitment were the Centauro's, Daytonas and MGS-01 as far as I know. Even then they used the rods with the larger big end bolts than std Carrillos.

I just think advertising something should be accurate is all.

Ciao

Are you a moderator that can change or edit because if you are then please do by all means change but for me. Appreciate the heads up. They were definitely changed to Carillos because I have the dealer service bills.

Need to sell because garage has only room for 3 and I am working on #4 right now to pick up shortly. Will always be an Italian, German, and one British. Simply selling a Guzzi for another Guzzi.

I think the discussion about Carillo rods is valuable to all of us, no foul. So, ChrisC, I can edit your original post with tools on my computer when I get home later. Somehow, those tools do not appear on this mobile device.

[edit: Okay, gotcha, buddy. Let me know if you want that done differently.]

Good luck with the sale and thanks for showing us the stable!
