gstallons Posted April 13, 2020 Posted April 13, 2020 Brother , I feel for you . I hope you get it back in perfect shape .
LowRyter Posted April 13, 2020 Posted April 13, 2020 Dang, sorry to hear that. Hard to believe anyone would take such a rare and unique bike.
Todd davis Posted April 14, 2020 Author Posted April 14, 2020 Probably didn't know what it was. Only that it looked great.
ScuRoo Posted April 14, 2020 Posted April 14, 2020 Hope thief is caught & bike found undamaged Todd ...but dude! What an absolutely pearler of a shot - full of moody lighting & intrigue! What’s the go there with that setting?
Chuck Posted April 14, 2020 Posted April 14, 2020 Unbelievable. You can't trade Guzzi parts for crack. You're probably right, they didn't know what it was.. it just looked great.
docc Posted April 14, 2020 Posted April 14, 2020 As if we don't all have enough pain and dismay in our lives, already. Predators are afoot. Feeling for you, Todd . . . You know we will be on the lookout.

Todd davis Posted April 14, 2020 Author Posted April 14, 2020 It was in my loft. I’m a professional commercial photographer.
80CX100 Posted April 14, 2020 Posted April 14, 2020 That sucks! Really sorry to hear that. Was there not one identical to that for sale recently somewhere down in the US, I remember the color being relatively distinct to me? Very unusual to steal a guzzi, there's literally no market for parts, eccentric collectors a few in number.
Rox Lemans Posted April 14, 2020 Posted April 14, 2020 It'll pop up. The Guzzi world is small. The V11 world even smaller. Let them dare put parts on craigslist or ebay.. A plus about owning a rare bike.
kiwidave Posted April 14, 2020 Posted April 14, 2020 I have the same bike he in Canada. Was it locked up or just in a shed. It would brake my hart to lose it.
gstallons Posted April 14, 2020 Posted April 14, 2020 It's certainly not like a GXER , Ninja or Harley . I am certain the skalawags didn't even know what they got !
LowRyter Posted April 14, 2020 Posted April 14, 2020 I would put a notice on Craigslist. Either reward or notice that the bike can't be chopped or sold due to rarity and notoriety. "Return to owner and no questions asked."
Todd davis Posted April 25, 2020 Author Posted April 25, 2020 I'm happy to report that the bike has been recovered. There is some damage to the ignition, seat and turn signal. It's still in the tow lot and I haven't gotten to check it out yet. 6
