Moto Guzzi Lemans 3 center stand

I have been wanting in install a center stand on my 2000 V11 sport,these stands are rare as hen's teeth. 

I came across a stand from a Lemans 3, and was wondering if this could be adapted to fix,(this might be a really dumb idea).

Looks like the Lemans 3 tire is only 110,where as the V11 is 170, so this in it self might make it impossible. 

Any input would be appreciated.

It is the major difference between the Tonti frame and the Spine Frame that would be the biggest difference .

I have an aftermarket centerstand on myV11, but it is poorly engineered. The pivot point is 2"-3" too low and one must lift the behemoth about 3" before the stand goes over center. Have thrown my back out once already. Am searching for a different stand to adapt to the aftermarket mount.
