There's more than one way to get across borders . . . ;)

Seems that the South'n SpineRaid  slogan:

> Get there. <

> Bring Tools. <

Is some kind of code for:

" Send lawyers, guns, and money!"

> Dad! <

Sheesh, four months out and I am making no significant progress toward my "200.000 km" Centenary goal. Chipping away, though.  I have a fresh rear tire in the wings, probably should get a front and go back into the shifter plate mechanism one more time.

Maybe plugs, a valve adjustment, throttle body balance, you know: A Decent Tune-up/ guzzidiag . . .  a compression test . . . check all those wheel bearings, the driveshaft U-joints, condition that battery . . .

"Only forty-eight hundred" . . .

"Maybe new rings. Also mufflers. A little wiring . . ."

Hey, there are still four months. And untold determination! :nerd::luigi::sun:

Just under three months to the Seventeenth South'n SpineRaid,

and what Centenary Celebration we can offer. :mg:

These things need to be done just so. A matter of stewardship . . .

South'n SpineRaid, ten years ago, the Sport looks poised and ready to pounce.

Would that she yet will . . .

Every time I look at the way the light falls across that image, I think it distills the basic elements of the V11 Sport:

A lot of motor, a shapely way to give it fuel, a clear sense of direction, and a place to hang on . . .

Heads-up, SpineRaiders: @Blueboarhound stayed at The Lodge at Tellico a few days ago. Walt told him there is another group at The Lodge during SSR XVII and there are three rooms left. Not sure about garage space, but we can generally get two or three Guzzis in one space.

Pretty sure HondaScott is still riding down from upstate NY and would like to split a room. He offered to send the money up front. If anyone has a spot for him, PM me for contact info.

Have you called Walt and asked him to reschedule the other group?

@doslemans just made a reservation and Walt told him two rooms left . . .

There are other places around, of course.
