The guy with the Honda seemed a little ruffled when he found under his ST1300 . . . Fair warning, Randy has it now and can mess with whomever he thinks will "enjoy" it the most. (Notice how docc knows precisely where an oil spill is most likely to occur under a V11. ) It was gone when I left, I think the original owner may have retrieved it. 1

docc Posted September 14, 2021 Author Posted September 14, 2021 These are probably my two favorite photos from the weekend: 7
Tom in Virginia Posted September 14, 2021 Posted September 14, 2021 Here's a link to my photos. Rode by myself, ate by myself, so not many of the fella's rides but a few of the Tech Session discussions. https://photos.app.goo.gl/GANxnBUhZKdSAd4C9 6 2

docc Posted September 14, 2021 Author Posted September 14, 2021 SpineRaiders are serious about their TechSessions. "Bring Tools" really struck a chord with HRC_V4 and Tom in VIrginia. Thanks for all the contributions, guys! Other than the miraculous missing (but caught in the wiring harness!) bolt find on Randy's Coppa Italia, the TechSesions were largely electrical . . . 7
Pressureangle Posted September 15, 2021 Posted September 15, 2021 Well it was good to see everyone and at least make an appearance... Following the electrical discovery in the garage Saturday night, I came to coffee the following morning, and when went to leave the battery completely failed; 12.54v at rest (low from cranking obv.) to 5.4 while attempting to start. That Odyssey PC545 doesn't have 200 miles on it, a few months old, and has been on my NOCO smart charger no less than 3 times for insurance before this trip. So I put everything on the trailer and watched all the Indiana Jones movies. I never realized how awful the sequels are. Monday, moved the truck to put up the other bike, and the bendix on the truck starter exploded. Literally finger-spin dead. Brand new Powermaster $300 unit with *maybe* 2000 miles on it. So unload the one good bike, bring a starter from NAPA and do a parking lot change. We did get home uneventfully, eventually. Bleah. 1 1 3
