Steve S Posted November 14, 2020 Posted November 14, 2020 Just bought this carbon mudguard new old stock from a dealer in the UK, who makes these?
stewgnu Posted November 14, 2020 Posted November 14, 2020 dunno, but i’d have eaten a kilo of dry cornflakes for one about a year ago 1 1
gstallons Posted November 14, 2020 Posted November 14, 2020 It is likely to be a MG product. IDK if there would be a emblem or part # on the fender ?
Steve S Posted November 14, 2020 Author Posted November 14, 2020 Didn’t think it was a Guzzi part as they only fitted cf to the ohlins forks and the mounting points are different 1

Steve S Posted November 15, 2020 Author Posted November 15, 2020 You’re right it can only be for a Rosso Mandello the cost was £99 and from On yer Bike but think they only had the one 1
gstallons Posted November 15, 2020 Posted November 15, 2020 I have one on my 03 sport w/Marzocchi forks . i am sure there is a part # for each style of fork 1
docc Posted November 15, 2020 Posted November 15, 2020 So, I only see the "front" portion in "carb." (even though it also says "red" which I believe designates the "Rosso" model application) in the 1999-2001 Parts Catalog: Front mudguard, carb. - - - 04000N red GU01434340
Steve S Posted November 15, 2020 Author Posted November 15, 2020 Mine is a one piece item, the Ballabio one I took off was two pieces 1
gstallons Posted November 16, 2020 Posted November 16, 2020 If I remember correctly , I had to remove the front wheel to swap . You will have to refer to an earlier post where I pulled a Cornwell toolbox drawer oxer the top and removed four coats of clear in the process !

Yes you need to remove the front wheel to fit it. PITA. Ciao 1
gstallons Posted November 16, 2020 Posted November 16, 2020 Parts cattle dog ? Hmmm. Yes , it was not fun swapping it out . You only do it once though ! 1
