biesel Posted May 10, 2021 Posted May 10, 2021 2003 Moto Guzzi V11 Le Mans Rosso Corsa, 77 km ...pricey but maybe realistic nowadays
Rox Lemans Posted May 13, 2021 Posted May 13, 2021 Na, this guy is high.. Bike likely needs all new gaskets just from sitting so long. Would rather a Corsa Rossa with 25k on the clocks once owned by an Aerospace Engineer for $6500.. 🤫🤜💥🤛 1
gstallons Posted May 14, 2021 Posted May 14, 2021 Well , IDK any aerospace engineer w/a RC , do you ?
po18guy Posted May 14, 2021 Posted May 14, 2021 Maybe a Coppa, but I simply do not like the LM fairings. As to seals, some of them apparently needed new seals at the factory gate. My comparison is a 34 year old EX500 Kawi that is oil tight - so I'm spoiled.

po18guy Posted May 14, 2021 Posted May 14, 2021 Ever raided by Garland Bunting? He was a 'Revenuer', busting up stills in the backwoods. According to Mr. Bunting, you did not want to get caught alone near a still, because if you did, the owners would ensure that "You might get better, but you'll never be well." .

Don't be sniffin' the rocket fuel without a pass . . . there is some matter of etiquette and understandings. As far as twenty-year-old motorcycles having sat up all this time, and commanding a premium, I suppose they are best bought at high prices and rolled into a museum space to be looked upon. Putting them into actual road-going service would be quite an event . . .
