PJPR01 Posted September 17, 2021 Posted September 17, 2021 Hhmm, tres delicieux!

If you read the narrative, they are celebrating the one hundred years of operation of the brand, and as in the quote above, they wanted to "wink" at a prestigious Italian brand going through their centennial this year. 1

I doubt they could put Asterix on anything without paying a lot of money to the copyright owners. Besides, I like that an obscure little artisan that produces sardines in tin foil boxes made the effort to put a Guzzi in the picture. 1 1

bbolesaz Posted September 20, 2021 Posted September 20, 2021 The picture is definitely an "artist rendering". I noted the hand shift lever, the shape of the underframe tank and the girder fork. R32 has the hand shift, tank style and a springer fork vs. girder. The engine is drawing is Guzzi.
Tomchri Posted September 20, 2021 Posted September 20, 2021 Sorry, no Guzzi on my sardines, my daily breakfast 90% of the time. Cheers Tom Sent fra min SM-A525F via Tapatalk 4 1
Kane Posted September 21, 2021 Posted September 21, 2021 You nailed it, docc! What a gorgeous bike. I wonder if those tins are available in the states? Olive Oil delivering sardines with a Guzzi! How friggin’ cool!

It is very interesting how breakfast food varies depending on the country.

Although it is linked naturally to the continent, not by a causeway. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quiberon
