DeBenGuzzi Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 but he didn't unless youre on 2011 time and I don't even know how to calculate that
belfastguzzi Posted August 27, 2014 Author Posted August 27, 2014 Good grief, I've forgotten how to post a video on here!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jEC_8BjLQoE
Admin Jaap Posted August 27, 2014 Posted August 27, 2014 Hi David, good to see you here again! And for digging up this timeless thread
helicopterjim R.I.P. Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 A most useless thread ..... may it live forever (or at least until the end of time).
belfastguzzi Posted September 2, 2014 Author Posted September 2, 2014 I should post some photos of the little café custom based on Mk5 LeMans, that was out for a run a few weeks ago. I think you saw the Facebook pics, Jim? Is Baldini still around? He would like the engineering detail.
docc Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 BFG! (That's the same thing I holler when I bust a knuckle wrenching on the Sport . . . For sure post up some views of the Mk5 - here's a thread Denis started for just that: Other Bikes Good to *hear* from you, yeah! 1
belfastguzzi Posted September 9, 2014 Author Posted September 9, 2014 It's not my bike though. I can post in one of the other (special) places (for banter). It's this (Facebook links) > Fbk album 1 > https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10152210028456493.1073742183.628571492&type=1&l=1403167b14 Fbk album 2 > https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10152210301441493.1073742184.628571492&type=1&l=27ec55e986
The Monkey Posted September 10, 2014 Posted September 10, 2014 It wont last, despite your teasing. I like what the builder did with the tips of the cut off rear section of the frame. Seat needs some body though, make ya want to stay on the bike not just endure it
Baldini Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 Hi BFG, Really nice bike. Any build details for it? Local to you? Yes I'm still around, but I'm retired from m/c...at least temporarily...dismantled the Tonti for further modifications...& the Scura spat it's dummy. Everything with a motor in the shed is broke. I'm busy w work etcetcetc. I've taken up mountain biking. Ever get your Tonti LM sorted? Cheers, KB
belfastguzzi Posted September 11, 2014 Author Posted September 11, 2014 Great, it's Baldi. No, LM still sitting, as is Scura. Things continue to break and be bad on the Griso, though it's great when going. Aprilia continues to be perfect!Monkey man, yes, the builder agrees with that: the seat is torture. It's a first go at it. He made the seat base/hump/tank etc. Engineering details are nice. I wish I knew how to work a lathe and other such tools and had access to them. (More basically, I wish I had a big garage and could have room to work at the bikes over time.)Keith, were you able to see the photos in the Facebook albums?
big J Posted September 13, 2014 Posted September 13, 2014 Jeez. you lads should get some nice Hondas or something These Italian bikes are no good
