VtwinStorm Posted December 18, 2021 Posted December 18, 2021 Has anyone been able to source a set of tire valve stem caps with "MOTO GUZZI", or the Guzzi eagle on them? I'm not huge into customization, but I think they would be a nice little finishing touch on my V11 Sport...
nc43bsa Posted December 18, 2021 Posted December 18, 2021 Not a silly question at all. I'd be interested in a few sets, myself. 1
footgoose Posted December 18, 2021 Posted December 18, 2021 I got a nice set with eagles. 19 years ago. I have a feeling they are stickers of some kind, atop a normal cap. I'll have a closer look. 1

But I can't locate any Guzzi valve stem caps... I'd buy a set if I could find one...
docc Posted December 18, 2021 Posted December 18, 2021 Quality valve stem caps are important! Make sure they have a seated O-ring and in no way depress the valve stem air release. Mine came from a Boeing 737 (aircraft content) . . . 1 1
billgreenman1 Posted December 18, 2021 Posted December 18, 2021 I like the ones that have the little plastic loops so they stay on the valve stem. Aerostich used to sell them but I'm not sure if they still do...
LowRyter Posted December 18, 2021 Posted December 18, 2021 Funny. I lost a cap last time I checked the air pressure. So I went to Oreilly's and picked some green ones to go with the bike. looks cool.

These are actually a bona fide secondary sealing mechanism in the aviation business. As opposed to the automotive world where they are seen as a dust excluder. Ciao
