OEM Part Name: Clutch Bleeder Moto Guzzi Part Number: who cares? throw it away. Replacement Part Brand or Source: Moto Guzzi Part number or other identifier: 05606630 - Referred to as Float Chamber Clutch Pipe on Harpers Parts Diagrams Differences from OEM (if any): You can actually reach it and you can bleed the clutch by yourself, while standing up. Other Compatible Vehicles: Stelvio and Griso (probably others) In this picture, you can see the new line aimed to the left of the clutch cylinder. The line is draped over the frame temporarily, but you can see the bleeder valve - just takes two wrenches. Final routing - I passed it under the frame rail and followed the starter cable up toward the battery. It terminates close to the battery. BTW - you don't have to remove swingarm to install this, but removing at least the rear wheel make it an easy installation. I'm guessing here Scud you haven't tightened up the side plate fasteners? Ciao

LaGrasta Posted December 9, 2022 Posted December 9, 2022 YTZ14S Z14S Lithium Ion 12v Battery, 1.98lbs, CCA 300, $122. Amazon https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00O179I9W?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details I currently am using this on my 2003. Note: the height of this battery is only 3.4", thus it can be mounted upright, accounting for the positive terminal being on the left, as opposed to the OEM being on the right. Update: this battery has been working perfect, not a single problem. Since this purchase however I ordered a NOCO lithium for my KLX250 and was more impressed than I ever have been with any lithium brand. In the future, I plan to stick with NOCO.
LaGrasta Posted December 9, 2022 Posted December 9, 2022 Crankcase oil vent hose, $20 Amazon https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000C2Y22S?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details I currently am using this on my 2003. Note: As this hose is intended for water, it is not oil certified. However others have noted no signs of wear for well over 10,000 miles. Even then, no loss of oil, only degradation of the rubber. At this price, and ease of replacement, it serves us to install, and monitor, and replace as needed versus OEM that is hardly available and cost threes times this amount. 1
LaGrasta Posted December 30, 2022 Posted December 30, 2022 LED instrument lights, $20 Amazon https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07HK9HFJH/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I installed these on my 2003, work fantastic, fit so nice too. They are brighter than OEM, but not overly bright.

Scud Posted March 11, 2023 Author Posted March 11, 2023 Upper Sump Gasket: Moto Guzzi P/N 01003650 Replacement Part: Moto Guzzi P/N B063861 Difference from original: Metal reinforced gasket as used on 1400 motors. Prevents blowouts of paper gasket that can reduce oil pressure with an internal (hard to detect) oil leak. As suggested by @Rolf Halvorsen 1
