dowieze Posted July 19, 2022 Posted July 19, 2022 I noticed that there is a difference between the left and ride exhaust height of my guzzi of 2 cm . The same difference was mesured between the left and right height of the rear footrests. I can not find the cause. Nothing is damaged. Please check out on your bike en let me known what is possibly the cause. I noticed it when I have assembled the stucchi luggage rack. Thanks in advance for the feedback.
ScuRoo Posted July 19, 2022 Posted July 19, 2022 When I look down I’ve noticed my barrels are also out of alignment I cope ‘cos studies have found ‘asymmetry’ adds beauty… 🤓
dowieze Posted July 19, 2022 Author Posted July 19, 2022 I bought a second hand bike. I thought he had an accident. What a relieve.
footgoose Posted July 19, 2022 Posted July 19, 2022 Yes they are all offset, I assume for the rear drive hub. Not really necessary, you can use washers and spacers and/or move the hanger to the inside or outside of the brackets to even them out, depending on your pipe flex. 1
GuzziMoto Posted July 19, 2022 Posted July 19, 2022 There is also the fact that the two cylinders are not even, one is offset from the other. Since the starting point of the two exhaust pipes isn't even, the ending point of the two exhaust pipes is also typically not even.
