Here's the current status from Cycle Cat:

I haven't heard anything from GenMar for a while either, so I guess this Summer is going to be a "bust" for any new risers

Al, did anything ever come of this? I'm riser shopping and I'd like to explore all the options.

Sorry for my english ...

 

I bought two weeks ago a brand new Black LeMans '02 and I must admit that I like it very much. A very good bike delivering "good vibration" !!

 

Unfortunately, I'm tall (183cm) and the position is not really comfortable for me.

I would like to be able to raise the handelbars from about 2cm.

 

Has anyone already done that or could anyone provide me some ideas how to do that.

raised plus extended hydraulics andnew grips. worked a treat. similar to Kawa z900 \ h2 riding position (for those old enough to remember..)

I can happily report that the "ConvertiBars" kit works as advertised. Full adjustment from lower and forward of stock to 3-4 inches back and up ( with the extended brake and clutch hoses).
