Guest steveguzzi Posted May 4, 2004 Posted May 4, 2004 Look I'm really sorry to open up this thread again but ever since I downloaded a manual for my 2001LeMans (thanks guys) I was shocked to see that Moto Guzzi recommend 2.2/2.4 bar (32/35psi) for my Bridgestone 020's. Now Bridgestone recommend for my LeMans 2.5/2.9 (36/42) according to their website, and that is what I used from day one. I have since completed several runs at the lower pressures and know which I prefer. But these are two reputable manufacturers with very different recommendations I'm sure you guys can explain what's going on.. I can hardly believe it Cheers Steve
docc Posted May 4, 2004 Posted May 4, 2004 no mysytery. The higher pressures from the tire manufacturer will keep the tires intact longer and the lower pressures of the bike manufacturer will keep the bike intact longer.
antonio carroccio Posted May 4, 2004 Posted May 4, 2004 2.4 front - 2.8 rear That's the tyre pressure of my bike.
