Guest Brent Posted October 17, 2002 Posted October 17, 2002 Each of the three bolts going through the lower portion of the gauge panel thread into a rubber piece that is *glued* onto a flat bolt-head that bolts onto the lower bracket. So far, I've had two of these rubber pieces come loose from the bolt head. If it happens to the new pieces that are being ordered for me, I think I'll try to find some industrial-strength rubber glue and just fix it. MG probably used this method, rather than allowing the bolt to go all the way through the rubber to the base, to prevent vibrations from damaging the instruments. If so, they should've used better instruments and no glue.
callison Posted October 17, 2002 Posted October 17, 2002 This happens all of the time with the Sport 1100's. Just use some superglue on it.
