Guest dkgross Posted May 12, 2004 Posted May 12, 2004 ...those T fittings createa SPONGE-IE-NESS for the fluid/feel....i you're welcome... Interesting that you mention 'sponginess". I hadn't really thought about that. The brakes have alwasy felt solid and firm to me (but, I've never riden a stock setup)...now I'm curious...
TX REDNECK (R.I.P.) Posted May 12, 2004 Posted May 12, 2004 T fitting or 2 separate lines ? I dont think it makes any difference to the handful of mortals riding the v11, but I forget how many Giacomo's are on this site
gallo_se Posted January 17, 2005 Posted January 17, 2005 Hi, I am new at the forum. I bought my new V11 Le mans Red and Black just few weeks ago and i am already thinking about some modifications: the clip-on risers first and the touring fairing second. I saw on the "two brothers racing" that it is possible to have the clip on risers in three different heights, which is the higher that still fits under the fairing, if you invert the right and left cips, so that they come also colser to the tank? I read from Ian's report that he had a very bad experience with them cause one broke, will you still recommend them? About tha fairing, what people that installed it can say about it? is it working ok? how is it the feeling at high speed? some turbolence? Thanks everybody. Sergio.
GuzziHutch Posted January 17, 2005 Posted January 17, 2005 Sergio, Also check out the bar risers from MPH Cycles at: http://www.mphcycles.com/BarRisers/RISERS.HTM They come complete with longer brake lines and the finished installation looks like a stock application. Really nice! Joe
