zebulon Posted June 3, 2004 Posted June 3, 2004 Could anyone tell me if the v11 rear shock (ohlins one) could fit a daytona or a centauro ?
callison Posted June 3, 2004 Posted June 3, 2004 I don't see why not, I have a shock from a Sport 1100i sitting in the frame of my V11 Sport. The remote is a different length (longer on the Sport 1100i) so that is awkward on the V11 Sport, but since you're going the other direction it should present no problem. But why a V11 Sport shock on the earlier model? The WP stuff on the Daytona RS, Centauro and Sport 1100i is better than the Marzocchi components.
antonio carroccio Posted June 3, 2004 Posted June 3, 2004 There is not a Marzocchi rear shock!!! you fool
Admin Jaap Posted June 3, 2004 Posted June 3, 2004 Antonio, not everyone knows as much about his Guzzi as you do...

Because i could have a rear Ohlins shock for a great price. And i have someone searching for a WP rear you see what i mean ;o)
Guest Brian Robson Posted June 4, 2004 Posted June 4, 2004 I think there is a WP rear shock for sale in the classifieds of this forum

docc Posted June 5, 2004 Posted June 5, 2004 Antonio, Here's an official forum perscription for 1000 km on your Guzzi. You'll feel better!
antonio carroccio Posted June 5, 2004 Posted June 5, 2004 I ride my bike yesterday, but the melange is not good yet. This morning I am going back to adapt the mixture. Yesterday evening I bought new boots for € 59,- in Zwolle. Look at www.elsware.nl Ciao a tutti
Paul Minnaert Posted June 5, 2004 Posted June 5, 2004 I think Paul can... I think it's the same lenght. And you can add the sping preload adjuster for +/- 210 euros.
docc Posted June 7, 2004 Posted June 7, 2004 Antonio, I am not familiar with that logo on the boot. Who makes it? I find when my Sport sits a while its mileage drops. After riding a while the fuel economy gets better.
antonio carroccio Posted June 7, 2004 Posted June 7, 2004 Antonio, I am not familiar with that logo on the boot. Who makes it? I have no idea who this boots makes. Maybe I don't care either. It fits well. It looks good. It feels good too. There is no store in Zwolle. I’ve just bought this boots form a lady at her home. She also has a lot of handy things for a friendly price. I like this lady. ciao
