Anyone else on this forum on the Ghetto as well?

I went in this morning and got ...

This domain has expired pending renewal or deletion...

Then I've been getting notifications every few minutes about...

System under threat?

Free anti-virus set up blah blah

Anyone else getting this and if so how do you stop it?

I also figured out how to stop the notifications too...

Phew it was weird as after the anti-virus note my own flagged up for renewal which I did, then realised it was actually current!

Thought I'd been hacked there for a bit....

All seems back to normal on this site again.....

There were numerous issues with the stewardship of the domain name and content after Steve Dayley's untimely death.

This was recently, finally, resolved and the stewardship has been transferred to Steve's mate Pete. Hopefully this means that the problems with spammers and registrations etc. will be a thing of the past.

Recent events here reveal how critical a forum's stewardship (plus diligence, persistence, expertise, and determination) [are] to preserving a forum.
