This isn't an issue, but something to be aware of if considering a purchase based upon model year features. For sale is this beautiful Italian motorcycle. An 1100cc longitudinal V-twin paired with cafe racer styling will ensure that you have the sweetest ride at any coffee shop. Owned and ridden by an ADULT rider of 60+ years. This bike would be perfect for someone looking to commute or that just likes to go for a nice cruise on the open road. asking $4800 o.b.o. Willing to trade for many things so dont be shy to offer what you have. especially if you have a: KTM duke or superduke, buell xb or 1125, ducati mulitstrada 999 or 998, GSXR 1000 or 750 (for my son) triumph speed triple. al_roethlisberger Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 Hi Al ..... thanks for all the posts. Yeah, was just sitting on the couch surfing and decided to "Search Tempest" a bit.... Unsurprisingly, not that many listed across the entire USA, but I didn't search Canada or Internationally.
Scud Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 This should clean up nicely with just a bit of polish: http://inlandempire.craigslist.org/mcy/5237309993.html Just kidding... A bit overpriced I think too - but could be worth a lower price for some parts.

And the bike doesn't look like it was really that well taken care of too. As has been quipped many times "V11 spineys don't crash well" ..... One of our old time members went through a lengthy restoration after a minor crash and it turned out to be a major job once he found one bent or cracked thing after another. So no telling what is still good.

Don't get your hopes up on the clutch parts . . . ad says "transmission: automatic"
Scud Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 Looks like SoCAl just north of SanDiego. Don't get your hopes up on the clutch parts . . . ad says "transmission: automatic" Yup - just around the corner from me. OK, maybe 100 corners, because I know some very twisty roads between my house and Wildomar. I didn't notice that it was an automatic. You never read about anyone having any trouble at all with the automatic trannies on the V11. They must be very reliable.
