The link didn't work for me just now. The message said "connection to the server facebook.com failed". Maybe facebook was having kittens, or maybe my interwbe connection, or maybe the page has been taken down.  :huh2:

It is possible that it does not work because this is not on Facebook Marketplace, but it is within the Moto Guzzi Quota group.

While there are no restrictions to surf Facebook Marketplace, it is possible those exist for a given group. Obviously, I am a member, so I cannot verify.

It’s an open group, I could see it and I’m not a member. I hope it’s okay to post but perhaps I should remove the phone number? Posting pictures on this forum is difficult but in case anyone is interested here’s the text.

OK selling my absolutely immaculate 1994 Quota, located in Australia, 11000 genuine kms from new, 15000 dollars ono, ring me if you are interested.  0418 444 163 Mark Dean.

I'd have that like a shot. One owner, probably loves it, and can't ride anymore. Really sad for the owner, but ideal conditions for the buyer. The price looks realy good. :huh2:

Not bad at all for a Centauro.

Best part of a Centauro is with V11 body work and tank you can turn one into a 5 speed version of my bike pretty much.

I'd have a Centauro if I had the readies, but only if it were enough readies to do what Phil suggested. B)

Thea Scura looks to be a good value, but may come with some of typical Scura issues if not already addressed by current owner.

As for the wheels on the greenie... never hear of that before. But it sounds like a 2002 or later stock rear wheel.

That looks like one of the two V11s that the seller had for sale on eBay earlier this summer. The other was an equally nice Rosso Mandello I think. He was asking $13,000 for the pair and had trailered them to the MGNOC rally in John Day, Oregon.

They apparently didn't sell there and afterward he listed them for $9000 for the pair, then the listing was taken down soon after.

Yes, that was the greenie there. He was asking that 13k for each of them, not both. I talked to him quite a bit while he was there. He offered to deliver them to my house if I bought them.  13k was a few hundred more than what he paid for them both less than a year ago. I though he was a bit high on his asking price, so I declined.

And let me just say, if I misunderstood his pricing, that's my bad. But I think I heard him right.

Docc looks stock but could it be a 2002 rear wheel installed on an 01?   Would it even fit?
