How can a 15 year old bike only have 3000 miles on the clock, hell I put that on mine in a couple of months.

I would be taking a close look at the clocks on that one, it may be on it's second or third Veglia.

Any fading on the tacho needle compared to the speedo needle?

The one directly above posted by Chamberlin looks more honest, 30,000 miles

BTW the Aluminum label on the Mistrals says "For off road use only" at least it did on mine until Gord the ace mechanic in Chilliwack gave me some new "V11 Sport" labels

Roy- My '02 LeMans that I recently purchased showed 3,022 miles on the clock when I took delivery. I too was very skeptical so the first thing I did was check the date code stamp on the tires, which looked brand new like the rest of the bike. Tires indicted they were manufactured in mid-2001. Upon further checking I learned the bike was originally sold up in Alaska, and eventually shipped to Texas where it went thru two owners. Hard to believe but there really are people that buy these bikes and then for one reason or another just don't ride them.

When I was looking to purchase my Greenie, there was one for sale on the MGNOC classified that was displayed inside a house in the great room next to the grand piano. I don't imagine that it was ridden too often.

I do believe that spine frame Guzzis look like works of art.

The one I purchase 2 1/2 years ago had 14k miles on it. I have 30k on it now.

Roy, mine had 5000 km on it when I got it - the original owner got cancer just after buying it, eventually passing the bike on to a woman who knew very little about motorbikes. She rode up and down the street but didn't like the way it handled so decided to sell. EIGHT psi in the front tyre will do that.....

I was missing Chamberlin's v11 listings! Thanks dude.

Still no apparent rhyme or reason what price these bikes get listed at.

Thanks czakky! Sorry I haven't posted these in while...but hopefully the above group was worth the wait!

BTW, I contacted the guy with the Tenni green Cafe Sport, here is what he had to say:

Hi Joe. It's nice to find someone who can appreciate what I have done with the bike. There isn't many Moto Guzzi lovers where I am. Anyway, I bought the bike from insurance agency as it had a damage to the front wheel, forks and speedometer. I replaced the shocks with the ones from MV Augusta . Never liked the speedometer so I got after market one. Brand new wheel. There was no damage to the body but since  I always loved the green I went with it. I tried clip ons but the long tank made it impossible to ride it so I went to more original style handlebars. I can take more pictures. Any special angles , pieces ?

That's the Tenni that was originally sold out of the Triumph shop on S. Main St. in Santa Ana ~ Sept. 2004? (sorry, memory fades. Maybe 2003?), isn't it? I seem to remember that number. I was going to get it but had a hard time getting my (now ex-) gf to cooperate & come down & see how she felt about the pillion post, & by the time I could finally corral her into coming, it had sold that afternoon. Drat! Moral of the story: if a bike moves you, just get it, or you'll forever rue the day you dithered... ;)

Best of luck. Moved on. Still love the Tenni color scheme tho'!
