King of the Baggers is a novelty but usually get more YouTube hits than the SuperBike races. It brings in a lot of non-traditional racing fans (read Harley-Davidson) & money to MotoAmerica. That said, they are 620lbs minimum, top 180mph, & race pretty hard.

Been to several of the races ,Will be going again to Laguna Seca in July.. Roland Sands shop is near my house sponsers the event, ..very competitive serious racing..also fun!

I have a friend from Rome who has a  race team that it very successful in Italy, and was here racing at Laguna Seca  last year with an Aprilia 660 in the "Twin's" class..He could not believe how good the riders are and how fast these "Baggers" are ..they travel thru the Cork Screw as fast as any other bike out there..He thought it was the best racing of the weekend. They have to be seen at the track to fully appreciate.
