activpop Posted June 22, 2023 Posted June 22, 2023 This might have been shown here before, but it is new to me. I usually call Piaggio and give them the VIN to check on the recall status of bikes I am looking at, but this is just as easy. I punched in my bike just for kicks, and it confirmed my earlier phone result from them before my purchase. My only question is the sentence at the bottom of the page referring to recalls after 2009, which the V11's were not. The gearbox recall was done in 2003, but the info comes up as satisfied and does reference my bike and color. So I am a little baffled. http://recall.piaggiogroup.com 1 1

audiomick Posted June 22, 2023 Posted June 22, 2023 No, it's what too many Italian words do. PS: just had a look and got this message: Quote Die von Ihnen angegebene Rahmennummer ist: ZGUKTA0102M111456 Der Antrag wurde korrekt weitergeleitet. Ergebnis des Antrags: Für dieses Fahrzeug sind KEINE Rückrufkampagnen durchzuführen V11 LE MANS CEE 2002 ROSSO CORSA/NERO AP that means (approximately) "the search was carried out correctly. Result of the application: For this vehicle, no recalls apply" I'm happy.
