Tools to take with me

So I'm wondering: do I need to carry anything other than the stock mini-tool kit when i'm on the road?

cell phone & credit card....

almost anything can be fixed w/ those alone....

unless its a cop or a tow truck...then youll need cash

A tire repair kit, this includes tire plugs, plug tool, CO 2's to refill the tire. I always carry one on longer rides, but have not needed to use it. Now if I did not have it with me, I would of had many of flats.

 

And as bshpilot says, a credit card and cell phone are a must.

good suggestions on the tire/plug kits...on the longer trips i do this

(and once they find their way under the seat they stay there)

 

plug kits can be found cheap at car part stores (in the US) and

ive found some LARGER (bigger then the small co2 cart.)

pressurized (and still portable enough to fit under the seat) at

bicycle shops...

 

as a suggestion...
