From the article published on Motociclismo.it March 20th, Moto Guzzi asked to renew the authorization to trade mark "Stornello" in the USA.

While the Stornello made a brief come back as a V7 variant, (The article has photos), Motociclismo thinks Guzzi may use the Aprilia 457 twin vertical engine as the power plant which was already the subject of a thread on this forum.

If this turns out to be the case, the answer will be shown at EICMA in November 2025.
