po18guy Posted April 12 Posted April 12 Such pandemic/de-fund the police driving behavior has become a pandemic in itself. About 3 weeks ago near me, an 18 year old in an Audi was blasting down a 35 MPG suburban street at a measured 112 MPH. Sadly a van filled with home school kids was making a legal turn with a green light. The van driver and three children were killed instantly. Two of the van driver's children lived, but now have no mother. The Audi driver was broken up, but survived to go to prison. Licentious behavior carries unseen and tragic costs. 1 3
p6x Posted April 12 Author Posted April 12 I have been stopped by the police in 2022, going 5 mph above the speed limit of 75 mph around Victoria. I was issued a warning. I thought that anything above 30 mph over the posted speed limit was an automatic arrest, even in Texas. So apparently not.
Tomchri Posted April 12 Posted April 12 Had a pullover in 2015 in Florida at 2am, going Forth Lauderdale- Pensacola. Hardly any cars, rental Camaro limited to 200km. But out of nowhere, 278$ ticket. Ok he had a Mopar Cheers Tom. 1
