The cost of oil has doubled, year on year?

Last year, I paid my Motul HD 80W90 Gearbox/final transmission oil $8.15

The same oil this year cost $17.82

74.47% increase in less than 12 months...

I found 4 liters of Motul 10w60 for $50, and LiquiMoly for $72. Yikes!
