Lucky Phil Posted September 9 Posted September 9 (edited) Nice story. I hadn't heard of this. A little surprised that there were so many newcomers that didn't know their way around on their first escorted lap as most including the year we were there with a newcomer we did a lot of laps before the practice week even started. There was no escorted laps in those days for newcomers. Phil Edited September 9 by Lucky Phil 1
GuzziMoto Posted September 11 Posted September 11 Respect for doing that race. More respect for doing it on a Guzzi. I would not do that race, but if I did a Guzzi would not be my mount of choice. Clearly not meant to dis Guzzi's, just I don't think they are the best bike for that "track". 2
p6x Posted September 11 Posted September 11 Not finishing the race for running out of gas must have been very frustrating indeed! even more when it never happened before in all the practices. 33rd out of 37 in qualifying is respectable. What does "FCR" stands for?
