Gents,.

As usual I want to reinvent the wheel by trying to build my own sump pan under my daytona carter(long story) but I use a v11 6 gear so I can post here😉 a v sump would be the easiest way to go but a : they are expensive and I am dutch! b: no oilcooler connection and c: I need to rework it anyway to use a later v11 subframe to the carterpan. But I realy can't understand the way the oil lines from and to the oilfilter work? Dumb? Probably...but I realy could use some help🫣

Having seen your posts on FB on the same topic, I would say, don't be cheap...fight your natural tendency to "cheapness"...even if at times it's a Guzzi quality characteristic.

If you have time to do it wrong and fix it 3 times, do it right once and pay a fair price.

Oil either passes through or bypasses the oil cooler governed by the thermostatic valve in the oil distribution unit in the sump depending on the oil temperature.

The cheapness is sort of a joke cause I spend already a very decent amount of money on this build😉 but it's more like if I have to buy a v sump and then reweld it completely....
