We used to live in a log cabin on the banks of the White river. My friend Lyle (RIP) and I used to put my canoe in there, and float down to Bonge's. Seldom said a word, just enjoyed navigating the river.That was before all the foo foo stuff with Bonge behind that fabulous mahogany bar and his dog curled up in the corner. Drink a couple of beers with Bonge, and head for home. Good times.
