LowRyter Posted November 29 Posted November 29 (edited) Lots of pretty Italian cars. Hard to pick one. Back to the subject, that TWR Supercat ain't gonna make anyone's pretty list. Looks like a local garage-built dirt racer stock car from the '60's. Just knock all the windows out, and it looks ready for the 3rd Heat Race. It looks like it already has a fencepost for the front bumper. Edited November 30 by LowRyter 2

HRC_V4 Posted November 29 Posted November 29 I like the Supercat, but I've always been an XJS fan, come close to buying one a time or two. I love the box fender flares, these are probably more a Renault LeCar to R5 Turbo 2 transformation than a 924 to 944, but well done. My biggest gripe would be the headlights, I wish they would have done a modern version of the European flush headlights instead of the US DOT headlights. But I would wager if you have one, you might find a beautiful woman you hardly know to do something for/to you..... 1 1 1
gstallons Posted November 29 Posted November 29 Didn't Enzo name this car "Dino" after his son Alfredo ? 1 1

The Dino were produced 1957-1976, initially as the single seat racer. Probably worth saying that "Dino" was not a car, but a Ferrari sub-Brand that produced various cars over its run.. 3

gstallons Posted November 29 Posted November 29 MMMMMMmmmmmmm. Maybe.. I would take M/V Agusta , Ducati , etc. No , there are a lot of beautiful Italian bikes. The Italian bikes are created w/passion ! 2
PJPR01 Posted November 30 Posted November 30 The GTO is without a doubt a great looking car as well P6X...I don't deny it. I have a soft spot for the Dino, if I could find one in blue! I've always loved the metal shift gate of the older Ferraris and the shape of the chassis. The problem is I have no room in the garage at all, and I can't sell the bikes or the other sports car. So I'm afraid the Dino will remain a dream never to be realized and only admired from afar. I drooled over the one in Arkansas last year, it was my favorite of the 40 cars there. There were so many other models of Ferrari present as well that it was a good chance to see all of them together (almost 40 of them gathered at Mt. Magazine State Park, originally Mt. Magasin in French looking out over the Petit Jean river valley). Even a few "poor" Porsches were allowed to partake in the event.

You guys might check out the movie "Ferrari". Dino's death was the central issue in their troubled marriage. Even more so when Laura learned of Piero. Edited November 30 by LowRyter 1
LowRyter Posted November 30 Posted November 30 (edited) Dinos were named after the Dino V6 engine. There was the Ferrari Dino and the front Engine Fiat Dino. Some say the Fiat was faster and lighter. Ferrari did build a successor. the 208/308 V8 Dino. mid engine 2+2. Gorgeous in it's own right. The prices have gone through the roof in the last couple of years. Particularly the cars with the euro bumpers. Edited November 30 by LowRyter 2
