WDGUZZI Posted Thursday at 08:40 PM Posted Thursday at 08:40 PM I replaced the rubber connector between the throttle body on the left side and the intake, and now find the throttle body on the right side to be way off. The previous owner addressed this by having the rubber inserted at an angle on each side, but I can't believe this is the factory solution. I could wrestle the right side in but both sides would end up exactly the way the previous owner had installed them. I have looked at where the throttle bodies attached to the arm that goes from one throttle body to the other, and have looked along the arm for any method of adjustability, but have found none. I assume I'm missing something obvious. Any thoughts on this are welcome. Thank you.

Exactly, this is the way I do it. If you think about the geometry of it it makes sense that the angles and dimensions are what they need to be for the bodies in their mounted position not an inch further away when released from the rubber connectors. Remove the aluminium manifolds and connect them and the rubber sections to the throttle bodies and then move the manifolds back onto the head. Easy.
