p6x Posted February 5 Author Posted February 5 Today I came upon a lady with a name tag Patrice. This is a male name in French. The female counterpart being Patricia. Quote Patrice is a given name meaning noble or patrician, related to the names Patrick and Patricia. In English, Patrice is often a feminine first name. In French, it is used as a masculine first name.

Apparently there are women in the USA whose first name is Taylor. Where I come from, that is exclusively a surname. I believe I have also heard of women called Kennedy. That is a surname. Mine, for instance. Still, not quite as "exotic" as Moon Unit or Dweezil. 2 1
