I am currently looking for various parts all over the world and have had good luck finding someone selling most of them. Often just one guy and his ad says “will not ship to US “. I just questioned a guy in the UK and he said he won’t sell to the US or Canada because he can’t get parts insured. Sometimes a seller will ship if I say please but often not. It’s very frustrating when only one guy is selling what you need .

Maybe there is someone here in the same country as the seller who would be willing to receive the part on your behalf and post it on to you. :huh2:

I had some parts shipped from Canada a while back. It took a long time and with no way to track, it looked ominous for awhile. The parts just showed up one day thankfully.

Have you posted a list of wanted parts here yet?

Can't get parts insured! whats that got to do with anything as the shipper of the parts. If the buyer accepts the risk then whats it to the seller. I send and receive plenty of stuff uninsured and a lot of it's in the many hundreds and sometimes several thousand dollars. Why, well if you've seen the insurance coverage fine print and ever tried to claim insurance for the odd thing thats gone astray you'd know.

Fedex, UPS and DHL all offer insurance. You simply declare the value when shipping and they will add the insurance cost to the shipping rate.

And of course they all offer tracking....

What am I missing here??
