"BMW: the "fff" in Furz seit 102 Jahren." Deepl.com gives this back: "BMW: the ‘fff’ in fart for 102 years." Works for me. lt is not "repartee", but "répartie". It sounds a lot better; 1

Scud Posted Monday at 02:53 AM Posted Monday at 02:53 AM I do like the looks of that R12S. If there were a new LeMans, there would be an interesting comparison. I took a strong look (nearly bought) an MV Augusta Superveloce. The BMW is a "bargain" compared to that.

For so long, I tried memorize the phrase, "MV Augusta Turismo Veloce Otto Cento Lusso " . . . 1
activpop Posted Monday at 03:01 PM Posted Monday at 03:01 PM It will be interesting to see how many of them they sell. I look at how many late model, low mileage R9t's are on the market for 10k and less. Then I wonder what an extra 10k plus gets me. 2
p6x Posted Monday at 04:18 PM Author Posted Monday at 04:18 PM I watched a BMW presentation about the R12S, and they have an interesting option; You can elect to have a modern TFT display, as the majority of the bikes now have, or you can get two gauges the way it used to be when the R90S came about. This is neat! I wish the option to have the old analog instruments (no longer analog) would be offered for the 2025 Guzzi V7 sport reedition. This kind of attention to detail is what separate BMW from the rest. I know, the R12S costs a fortune. I found one 1976 R90S in orange for sale, 26,000 USD!!! the grey colored one are less expensive at around 20,000 USD. 1

activpop Posted yesterday at 03:47 PM Posted yesterday at 03:47 PM This one just came on the market. 2022, one owner, 1000 miles, bunch of add ons with all the original stuff included. 9k. Very Griso like. 1
