trip knob

Can someone tell me how the speedo trip knob on a 03 ITI speedo is held on.I put the speedo on the bike but cant remeber if it screws on the shaft or is held on by an actual screw.Thanks

Screwed on reverse thread.

From (failing) memory, if the knob is on the left it is LH thread.. on the right is RH.

Doesn't matter.

However attached, it will fall off soon.
