Anyone knows where I could find one of those? There are complete foot rests for sale on eBay for almost 200$.

Anyone knows if any other brand can be adapted?

Harper's has the best inventory but they mark the prices up above list price . I would try Google to see how many dealers there are in a 250 mile radius and go from there.

I have not spoken to them, but I checked their website for the part. Nogo.

So far, the only place where I got a hit is an outfit in UK, but they sell the entire peg Item #35 on the drawing. I suppose but have not verified if its include the rubber insert item #36. I also found some used ones on eBay from vendors which are flagged as unreliable.

I have made contact with MPH, which I know have a lot of spares from their old days as a Moto Guzzi dealership. No reply so far.

I would have gone for the UK one, however the cost of transport to the US is kind of high.

I am going to wait until MPH confirms they don't have one.

I finally found a rubber foot peg that fits my Quota;

It is from a 1150 BMW GS, year 2004/2005;

I ordered it since it was not in stock, 14.06 USD, which I found expensive for a little bit of rubber. It is a skinny one, not a large one.

They received it today, I went to pick it up, and it fits. I thought, let's change the other one, and today, the price has increased to just double! 38 USD...

Never mind then...

That's the one I purchased. It is slightly longer, but it is a drop in place.

It's 20.66 EUR from BMW, with VAT, so 17 EUR tax free.

Just saying transport is ridiculous both ways. Ordered 3 fuse boxes from US, may be 60gr, freight 206 $. What. Shipped to sister in-law in NY 9$.
Cheers Tom.

Shipping my Quota's Tachometer/Speedometer to Germany from the US: 200 USD cheapest I found with FedEx, including a big mess since they did not enter it as temporary importation, but permanent. Even if I had clearly filled in the custom document.

Shipping from Germany, 50 EUR up to 3kg...

A lot of the riding gear is also half price in Europe compared to here. And this was before the import taxes were changed.

Here are the photos so you can judge; the BMW one fits both sides, while the Quota has a distinct part number for the left or right side.

I was amazed to find out these are directly listed from BMW Motorrad, and the catalog have the spare parts available for ALL their motorcycles, including the vintage ones...

Obviously, BMW has the financial strength to do that. You can still order pistons for your R-90S from the 70's....

I just bought a set of swingarm pins for the V11, shipped via DHL Germany, shipping total was $5.00 US.

$5.00 Huh.

Edit; 5 Euros, actually.
