HadaDaytona Posted Tuesday at 03:46 PM Posted Tuesday at 03:46 PM I am doing a cafe build and really like the look of the older Daytona solo seat Fairing. I found two companies that appear to be making these . Officine08 : Fiberglass seat Moto Guzzi 1000 Daytona (Italy) Euro 173,45 avenue748 : Moto Guzzi Daytona race seat (NSW Australia) AU $495 Has anyone had experience with these fiberglass fabricators ? They look good in their photo’s but there is a big difference in price $$$ 1

Pressureangle Posted Wednesday at 01:38 AM Posted Wednesday at 01:38 AM (edited) Ok, I can't do facebook on my PC, and can't share from my phone; There's a guy on FB moto guzzi sport 1100 group who is making tail covers in both fiberglass and carbon fiber- I think he's still taking orders. Lostrego Guzzi I don't see these particular items on his website, just in the FB group. Edited Wednesday at 01:40 AM by Pressureangle 1

Gundagai where this one is made isn't a million miles away from Pete Ropers place and about a 5 hour drive from mine. This one has been on the HMB site as a special for years. Take off 19% and add shipping. Michael may cut you a deal who knows. https://hmb-moto.de/Rear-Cover-Sport-Corsa-yellow-black 4
Weegie Posted Wednesday at 10:28 AM Posted Wednesday at 10:28 AM Agree, the original seat design is far superior to either the Sport or the RS, but that's just my opinion Only thing I can add is the original was one piece with no seam, as I recall. The rear would require cutting at the base to accomodate a tail light, if you were mimicking the orignal design 1
HadaDaytona Posted Thursday at 07:25 PM Author Posted Thursday at 07:25 PM Daytona 1000 and a Daytona RS 👀 Which one is sexier 😘 1

Lucky Phil Posted Thursday at 09:07 PM Posted Thursday at 09:07 PM The RS Sport was a much better looking bike. Different wheels, much better looking seat unit, painted engine, usd forks, more power than the original Daytona and Carrillo rods. 2
