Dave Swanson Posted Monday at 05:39 PM Posted Monday at 05:39 PM (edited) The snow has cleared and a recent rain has removed the tons of salt left on the road. The V11 was rolled out of its warm bed to make this video commemorating the start of a new season. Remember to like and subscribe. Bwahaa! 2004 V11S Edited Monday at 05:41 PM by Dave Swanson 6
po18guy Posted Monday at 07:15 PM Posted Monday at 07:15 PM (edited) Which model is that? The clipons go well with the small fairing. FYI: "subbed" in my case means subservient. Edited 4 hours ago by po18guy

I second that. There is not quite enough fairing on that for a Le Mans. Edited yesterday at 02:49 AM by audiomick

And, this, a fork mounted "flyscreen" rather than the frame mounted "fairing" of the LeMans variants, or even the other frame mounted screens of the Ballabio/Café Sport/ Coppa Italia or 2005 Scura R. This is a true "Sport" . . . and a fine one, indeed! A Sport-is-a-Sport-is-a-Sport . . . 2
po18guy Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago But then they made a V11 Sport naked with no fairing, IIRC. "Heya Luigi, thosa fairings come in? OK, werea puttin them onna da bikes today!" 3

OK, werea puttin them onna da bikes today!" Interesting, the original V11 Sport, 1999-2001, was naked (sans "flyscreen") with an available, accessory, Stucchi fiberglass option. Nekkid: Stucchi (Luigi) accessory/ "bikini" . . . The first, factory, special edition Sport of 2001 (Rosso Mandello) carried the 2nd generation flyscreen . . . The 2002 V11 Scura could be considered a "special Sport" with fork mounted flyscreen: There were unfaired (nekkid) Sports in 2002 and the 2003 "carryover" LongFrames ("Sport Naked") . . . There was the 2003-204 Café Sport that came with handlebars and a frame mounted flyscreen: Not sure if any "later"/actual 2003 - 2004 V11 Sport were delivered without the fork mounted "bikini"/flyscreen that is seen on @Dave Swanson's magnificent 2004 V11S(Sport). (??)
Speedfrog Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago According to this 2004 MG North America Press Book found on Greg Bender's website, it seems that a V11 naked - sans fairing - was still in the line-up. This Old Tractor
Joe Posted 43 minutes ago Posted 43 minutes ago Speedfrog- Looks like 2004 was a great model year for Moto Guzzi. Spine Frame, Tonti, & CARC bikes sold brand new together.
