Guest Fonzarelli Posted September 18, 2004 Posted September 18, 2004 I used my minature mill to modify these castings. I removed .050" from each side of the pegs. I also cut back the angled portion of the casting as it interferred with the pivot point.
Admin Jaap Posted September 18, 2004 Posted September 18, 2004 Fonzarelli, @ MSN you have to register and log in to view the site. I don't see the pictures. Please send them to me and I will make sure everybody sees them.
Paul Minnaert Posted September 18, 2004 Posted September 18, 2004 with the new forum you can add more than one picture in one reply. Just click browse, go to the picture, and "add this attachment" do that as much as you have pictures
Guest guzzidude1100i Posted May 24, 2006 Posted May 24, 2006 That looks like you were able to move the pegs down and back, is that correct? I was looking for a way to move mine down and forward. I looked around and couldn't find the right setup. Finally I devised a lowering bracket that moves the pegs about 3/4" down and forward. This lets my size 10 boot get a better feel on the shifter. This setup uses all stock parts, matches the look and finish of stock and I should be able to replicate them for about $70.00. I don"t have a computer or digital camera except at work. So if anyone is interested I'll ride it to work one day and e-mail you the photos. Thanks, Tom guzzidude1100i@yahoo.com
